As you are probably aware, the schedule for the implementation of the new AccreditNet 3.0 system has been in a “yellow” status for several months. This is due to slower data migration between two different database structures, and a need to simply workflows, build additional functionality, and refine and document all decisions for feedback from staff.

AccreditNet 3.0: Where Are We?

As a recap, URAC made the decision early in 2018 to replace the current accreditation system, AccreditNet 2.0, which was first implemented in 2015. Issues with the current system include functionality limitations, vendor dependence and cost, as well as poor customer feedback. A Dulles, Virginia based vendor, ARMATURE, and their Fabric™ product was selected as the replacement and the project kicked off in October 2018. The new system will be replacing not only the AccreditNet 2.0 product but providing functionality to support the annual submission of measures by our clients in compliance with the URAC Quality process.
