As you are probably aware, the schedule for the implementation of the new AccreditNet 3.0 system has been in a “yellow” status for several months. This is due to slower data migration between two different database structures, and a need to simply workflows, build additional functionality, and refine and document all decisions for feedback from staff.

In short, the build that is needed to support URAC is complex and cannot be implemented with “off-the-shelf” software. We needed not only more time, but additional build by the vendor to automate our processes.

The snapshot below includes revisions to the original project plan, budget and build requirements for the AccreditNet 3.0 implementation. The project plan has the following phases and activities:

Phase 1 (September 2019)

  • General Configurations
  • Instrument and Standard Configuration
  • Notice of Change Configuration
  • Online Directory Configuration
  • Measures Configuration
  • Data Migration
  • Salesforce Integration

Phase 2 (December 2019)

  • Instrument and Standards Review
  • Notice of Change (NOC) Customization
  • Phase 2 of Online Directory and Certificate Generation
  • Phase 2 of Measures Configuration
  • Continue Data Migration
  • Continue Salesforce Integration

Phase 3 (February 2020)

  • Phase 3 General Configuration
  • Phase 3 of Instrument and Standard Configuration
  • Phase 3 of Measures Configuration
  • Phase 3 of Data Migration

Preparation for Launch (March 2020 tentative)

  • Set Up
  • Data Seeding
  • Platform Migration
  • Form Reconfiguration

We are still in the middle of Phase 1, so subsequent phases will become more detailed as we move forward. The overall project status remains “yellow,” but I will continue to keep you updated and hope to be able to demonstrate the new functionality, look and feel of the system soon.
