As the year ends, we at URAC have much for which we can be proud.  2018 was another year of strong financial performance.  We will finish the year with a strong operating margin, achieving the highest revenue in our history.  While we continue to be challenged by a significant lag in new business sales, our management of the organization resulted in our achievement of other financial goals.

We're excited to announce that FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr will deliver the first keynote at the Telemed Leadership Forum 2019. The second keynote will be Laura McWright, deputy director of the Seamless Care Models Group, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). 

I’m sure most of you heard about a recent ruling by a federal judge in Texas declaring the ACA is unconstitutional. As part of his decision, U.S. District Court Judge Reed O’Connor ruled that the individual mandate is unconstitutional because it is no longer a tax following its repeal roughly a year ago as part of the GOP’s tax legislation.
