It hasn’t even been a full month since my first day as the CEO (feels longer doesn’t it?). I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for welcoming me to the URAC family and helping me as I come on board. Although the daily work can sometimes distract from the bigger purpose, URAC gives each of us the opportunity to improve the healthcare for people across the nation and for our loved ones.
URAC Keeps Growing with Home Infusion Therapy (HIT) Accreditation

In February, the URAC Board approved development of a new accreditation addressing home infusion therapy. The program is an important step for URAC as we build on our success with specialty pharmacy accreditation.

Letting your co-workers know when you will be out of the office is an invaluable courtesy; one that should never be overlooked. Whether for vacation, sick time, a conference or other work-related travel, letting folks know where you are and when you will return is important. Memories are short and scheduling a meeting only to find out that you are out of the office is very annoying. Below are a few tips that will open communication between you, your team and your clients.
