This past month, URAC hosted the second annual Telemed Leadership Forum, which attracted over 120 attendees, including policy leaders, provider groups, telehealth providers, and hospitals and health systems. Our first two keynote speakers on the first day were a big draw, featuring Brendan Carr, Commissioner at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), followed by Laura McWright, Deputy Director of the Seamless Care Models Group, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Featuring 27 speakers, we were proud to have the event moderated by our new president & CEO, Dr. Shawn Griffin. Like last year, we also live streamed and recorded all the sessions, and will have them available shortly for attendees to watch again.

We are continuing to publish articles that feature insights and key takeaways from the conference. You can find these on The URAC Report on the website: https://www.urac.org/urac-report

Or follow us on social media to keep an eye on new articles.

As we begin to turn towards 2020, we gathered mostly positive feedback from attendees, who were pleased at the size, quality, and relevancy of the conference. Hosting the Telemed Leadership Forum and bringing together these telehealth experts not only helps build brand awareness for URAC and position URAC as a thought leader in the healthcare marketplace, but also helps our teams make valuable networking connections. We look forward to the future of this conference.
