The Monthly Review spotlights a different URACer each month in a Q&A. This month it's Moshe-Bear Prigal , who has been with URAC since March of this year.

TMR: When did you start at URAC and what brought you here?

Moshe-Bear: I started here at URAC on 3/13/2017 as a contractor to build the IRR application.  I became a URAC employee on 5/22/2017.

Moshe-Bear: I came here because URAC was looking for someone to do Database programming / application development.  Which I love doing.

TMR: Describe yourself in three words.

Moshe-Bear: Crazy , Religious, ProgrammerMoshe Bear.jpg

TMR: Where did you grow up?

Moshe-Bear: I was born in an elevator!! And I lived on long Island New York until I was 8 years old. Then my father get transferred to Washington DC so we moved to Silver Spring MD  so I went from the suburbs of New York City to the Suburbs of Washington DC.It was hotter and more humid down here in Maryland.

TMR: What’s your favorite restaurant?

Moshe-Bear: Royal Restaurant  I love Kosher Chinese food

TMR: What was the last movie you saw?

Moshe-Bear: USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage

TMR: What book do you currently have on your nightstand?

Moshe-Bear: The Garden of Gratitude by Rabbi Shalom Arush

TMR: Where did you go on your last vacation?

Moshe-Bear: To shul (Synagogue) to Pray

TMR: Are you a cat person or a dog person?

Moshe-Bear: I love dogs. Cats and I tolerate each other. I grew up with dogs.

TMR: Is there anything else that you would like us to know about you?

Moshe-Bear: I am here to help however I can. If I can, I will try to make you laugh (probably by pun- ishing you, heavy on the pun). The difference between me and everyone else here is that I am willing to admit to my insanity. The rest of you are still in denial.  W.C. Fields said it.  “everyone is crazy,  it is just a question of,  to what degree”.
