URAC has amassed a great deal of knowledge about what it takes to build a successful, high-quality pharmacy service. Redefine Health, URAC’s wholly-owned subsidiary and consulting arm, has been redesigned to facilitate this transfer of knowledge while maintaining the integrity of URAC’s accreditation process. Redefine Health represents URAC’s continued investment in the pharmacy community and signifies our effort to provide solutions to improve the quality of care patients receive.

Redefine Health has retained external consultants who are seasoned specialty pharmacists. These individuals have worked within small independent specialty pharmacy startups as well as Fortune 500 companies. Their real-world pharmacy operations experience combined with their regulatory and policy backgrounds bring strength to the Redefine Health start up.

To drive brand awareness, Redefine Health will launch the Redefine Health Academy in September 2018. The Academy is a series of online webinars that will address some of the most pressing issues faced by specialty pharmacies today – staff competencies, limited drug distribution, and cold chain processing, for example. The goal of these lead generating webinars is to drive follow on consulting engagements to Redefine Health. Redefine Health growth drives top line growth to URAC.

And we’ve only just begun.

Redefine Health will continue to evaluate other healthcare consulting services that are both in demand and synergistic to URAC’s competencies. If you have a moment, please review the new website at www.redefinehealth.com. Your feedback is critical so that we can make this a success. Please email me suggestions for improvement at radams@redefinehealth.com.
