Planning for the Telemed Leadership Forum 2019 is well underway. The website has launched with a preliminary agenda, speaker photos, and hotel information: https://telemed.org/
Next year's event will be held at the Washington Marriott Georgetown, April 3-5, 2019. The sessions, which include a mix of panel discussions and presentations, provide solid, innovative and valuable information on how telehealth is transforming healthcare delivery. With the explosive growth in telehealth, data and technology, this Forum is an opportunity for healthcare leaders to share, learn and discuss empirical evidence for the value of telehealth across specialties.
Speakers include physician leaders and other executives from Bon Secours Health System, University of Mississippi Medical Center, University of Rochester Medical Center, Thomas Jefferson University, Northwell Health, Avera Health and Kaiser Permanente.
Our invited keynote on the first day is FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, who would talk about the FCC's Connected Care Pilot Program (we have a tentative acceptance). The second keynote speaker on the first day is Martin Kohn, MD, a consultant who works in health data analytics, health policy and healthcare management, and was formerly the chief medical scientist for Sentrian and chief medical scientist for IBM Research.
Promotions being launched include MobiHealth News and mHealth Intelligence e-blast promotions, newsletter sponsorships and display ads. We will also be publishing articles on The URAC Report, in which speakers will be interviewed about the telehealth initiatives in their organizations.
