You're looking at the new home page hero image for the URAC website. After some finishing touches and a sneak peek for the Board of Directors on February 15, URAC's new website will go live. The completely re-imagined website is designed with the concept of content marketing in mind -- providing valuable, relevant and consistent content that attracts and engages audiences, drives customer action and generates leads for sales.

The goals of the new website include providing an easy-to-navigate, visually compelling experience for users, positioning URAC as a thought leader and as a resource for accurate, reliable information on topics that matter to our audiences, and increasing engagement.Features included in the new website are based on feedback from customer and prospect online surveys, as well as staff feedback.

  • Built on the Drupal 8 platform, the content management system was designed to allow easy edits and customizations to the website
  • The navigation menu uses the "hamburger" or "fly-out" menu: it's those 3 little horizontal lines that indicate you can click on it and a menu will drop down. Mousing over some items on the main menu will cause a menu section to appear. This means that users can click one time to find the accreditation program they are looking for, as opposed to up to five clicks now.
  • Articles, press releases, industry insight reports, videos, webinars, events -- all of the various types of content in different topics are delivered to the user on different pages. This means the user isn't hunting for relevant content.
  • Customers and prospects told us they wanted to see helpful, relevant articles, white papers,  webinars, industry-related news, and more information on Measures. You'll see that this new website design delivers on all of these items.
  • The URAC Report blog will get much more visibility. It is moving off the Hubspot platform to the new website. Forms and gated content will continue to be on the Hubspot platform

Here's the plan for announcing the new website to clients and promoting to our audiences:

  • Pre-launch email to clients announcing the launch and outlining features. We'll also assure them that the new website does not affect their AccreditNet account, which is on a different platform.
  • Press release sent through Meltwater
  • Article on the URAC Report blog to be promoted through social channels
  • Social posts on Twitter several times a day, and on LinkedIn and Facebook twice a week for several weeks.

Please feel free to email me or drop by if you have any questions.
