The Monthly Review spotlights a different URACer each month in a Q&A. This month it's Peggy Reed, who has been with URAC for nearly five years.
TMR: When did you start at URAC and what brought you here?
Peggy Reed: I started in November 2013. I recently moved back to the US from abroad and wanted to work for a smaller organization.
TMR: Describe yourself in three words.
Peggy Reed: Big Wildlife Lover!!
TMR: Where did you grow up?
Peggy Reed: The Village of Gibsonburg, OH. Yes village, it is not even big enough to be classified as a town.
TMR: What’s your favorite restaurant?
Peggy Reed: My favorite restaurant isn’t technically considered a restaurant, but more of a place and it serves some of my favorite food in the whole world. Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safari camps in Sri Lanka.
TMR: What as the last movie you saw?
Peggy Reed: If we are talking new releases, I think XXX Return of Xandar Cage, it was on a plane so not sure which movie I watched at the end of the trip.
TMR: What book do you currently have on your nightstand?
Peggy Reed: The latest Cotton Malone series by Steve Berr.
TMR: Where did you go on your last vacation?
Peggy Reed: Kabini, India.
TMR: Are you a cat person or a dog person?
Peggy Reed: I am actually both. I grew up with dogs and owned dogs most of my life, but I am now the proud mom of three Bengal cats who would plot my demise if I brought a dog in the house.
