The Monthly Review spotlights a different URACer each month in a Q&A. This month it's Evan Oseni, who has been with URAC since September of this year.
TMR: When did you start at URAC and what brought you here?
Evan Oseni: I started working with URAC on the 11th of Sept 2017. One of my priorities in life is to be successful professionally, alongside giving back to the society while loving what I do. When presented with the offer I considered it an opportunity to achieve these goals on a single platform. Given URAC is a non-profit accreditation organization in the health domain.
TMR: Describe yourself in three words.
Evan Oseni: Analytical, Creative and Jovial
TMR: Where did you grow up? 
Evan Oseni:  I grew up in Lagos, Nigeria from a very modest background, lots of culture and tradition and a colorful mix of languages. Everyone is a naturally bilingual.
TMR: What’s your favorite restaurant? 
Evan Oseni: Fogo de Chao! Its located in Washington D.C. Why it’s my favorite? Simple, I love meat and they do it welllllll.
TMR: What was the last movie you saw? 
Evan Oseni: Thor Ragnarok. I love action movies, sucker for Comic ones too. It had a mix of everything: fight, comedy, pain, etc. probably appeal to a larger audience, more like all you can eat type stuff.
TMR: What book do you currently have on your nightstand? 
Evan Oseni: War and Peace.
TMR: Where did you go on your last vacation? 
Evan Oseni: Ocean City
TMR: Are you a cat person or a dog person? 
Evan Oseni: Neither, but if I must choose between the two I would go with a dog probably a German Shephard.
TMR: Is there anything else that you would like us to know about you? 
Evan Oseni: I am a positive person, curious for everything intellectual and love tasty food
