The Product Development team’s commitment to URAC’s mission to advance the quality of healthcare through leadership, accreditation, measurement, and innovation manifests itself starting this January in a significant way: the rollout of Core v4.0 and Case Management v6.0.

URAC’s commitment to adapt for value manifests itself in the development of the new Core v4.0 standards. After two years, two public comment periods resulting in more than 2,000 comments, and countless hours from our dedicated staff, these revised standards provide our clients with the most contemporary, effective foundation for developing a high-functioning healthcare team and high-quality health services.

The expansion of regulatory compliance in the Risk Management focus area will strengthen clients’ risk management processes. Other enhancements to Core v4.0 will improve an organization’s business ethics and leadership accountability. Organizations accredited under URAC’s Core v4.0 will not only become leaders in critical healthcare management practices, but will also be upstanding examples in the industry as well.

At the same time, URAC creates more durability and value in its products by focusing on the needs of its current client base and potential customers. The program publications for the new products will have a new look and will come in a contemporized, simplified guide format that is written in clear language and promotes ease of use. This redesign reinforces our commitment to helping our clients strengthen the value of their services to ensure safe, high-quality care.
